In this blog we are going to show you how to hide certain colors of items. This feature is important because your artwork or designs may not look great on certain colored items. We want to make sure when your products are ordered and delivered that they look as good as you imagined. This will also help you expand your brand and sell even more product.
Without getting into color theory and all that stuff, you can see when colors clash. For instance, a red design would look awful on a pink shirt. Some colors just don’t go together and you can usually tell immediately when you see it. At the same time, most people that have very simple designs create them in just black or white. Obviously, these designs wouldn’t work on a shirt that’s the same color. A white design on a white shirt would make the design totally disappear.
Luckily, when you use the Nymbl system, we have a way for you to only offer colors of items that work the best with each individual design. By doing this, you won’t have any of your customers ordering products that don’t look the very best.
Let’s show you how to hide colors. It’s easy!
The first thing you need to do is log into your dashboard. Go to your store and click on the up arrow at the top of the page to the right of where it lists the currency.
Once you’ve logged in, you’ll see all your designs listed. There will be a column titled “Hide Items.” Find the design you want to edit items for and click the corresponding “Choose Items” box.
Once on this page you’ll see all the products with that design shown. The very right column is labeled “Choose Colors & First Color”
This will bring up a box that will allow you to select colors of products you wish to hide. It will also allow you to pic a color you want to have it display first if there is one you really like. All of these can be previewed on your store automatically.
There are also buttons on the top of the hide colors page that allow you to hide all black products or hide all white products. If you have an all or mostly black or white design, these buttons are super helpful and will automatically hide all black items or all white items or both if you choose.
